The Elk traveled to Phoenix, Arizona right after their trip to Portland, Oregon where they faced off Corban and Bushnell. While in the Grand Canyon state they played Ottawa and Park University. Stanton and the Ottawa Spirit's game ended in a tie of 0-0. Both teams showed great athletisism and sportsmanship. The very next day, The Elks faced off against Park University. The first of two goals was brought to you by our Brazilian senior Paulo Nakashigue assisted by Francisco Goncalves in the middle of the 1st half. Less than 20 minutes later towards the end of the 1st half unassisted, Salvador Carruco seals the deal and score a decisive 2nd goal. The Buccaneers responded in the 2nd half by scoring in the last few minute of the game. But it had been already decided the Elks were going to go back home to California with this win.
