The Stanton Elks closed their regular season in style, capturing a win against the Bethesda Lion Angels in a spirited match that showcased the team's dedication and hard work. Right from the start, the Elks showed their determination, with an early goal by none other than Francesco De Marco, setting the tone for the game.
As the second half began, it was clear that the Elks were not finished. Baltasar Albertsson, our powerhouse from Iceland, delivered an electrifying final goal of the regular season, securing Stanton's lead and sealing the victory.
In a bittersweet close to the night, Stanton celebrated its three graduating seniors—Victor Malaquias, Paulo Nakashigue, and Luke Monaghan. Their dedication to the team, both on and off the field, has been a source of pride for their peers and the coaching staff. Each senior was honored, cheered, and thanked for their unwavering commitment to Stanton, leaving an inspiring legacy for their teammates.
To all our players, thank you for your hard work, resilience, and passion this season. Each of you has played a role in making this season unforgettable, and we are grateful for the memories you've created on and off the field.
