Elks Tennis Pre-Season Kicks Off

The Stanton Tennis team began their pre-season with a pair of scrimmages against Irvine Valley College (IVC), securing a couple of single wins that showcased the team's potential under new head coach Giovanni Fragalle. The scrimmages gave Stanton's players a chance to experiment with fresh strategies and start building the chemistry they'll need for the season.

The Elks then traveled to sunny Phoenix, Arizona for a few days to face tougher competition against Arizona Christian and Ottawa University, where they delivered promising performances. Stanton's play demonstrated growth in both offensive and defensive cohesion, hinting at a strong foundation for the season. These early successes are an encouraging sign, showing that Stanton is ready to bring intensity and resilience to the court this year.
